Ivan Burschick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Stefan Bushofen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Dominik Behrens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Simmering's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominik Behrens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Bushofen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dominik Behrens kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, Real Simmering's Jan-Philipp Zugowski got control of the ball when Torsten Gerber tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Simmering's zone, Torsten Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Philipp Zugowski came out of the goal and Torsten Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Philipp Zugowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernhard Ivanschitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Dominik Behrens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Bushofen having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Hubert Degdau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Burschick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Behrens in the 47th minute of play forced Plaschischen's goalkeeper Stefan Bushofen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Plaschischen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Simmering were winning 0-1.

55 minutes into the match, Real Simmering's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Gerber came free, but Jan-Philipp Zugowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Plaschischen's Bernhard Ivanschitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Philipp Zugowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stefan Bushofen was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Real Simmering's Dominik Behrens in the 89th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Stefan Bushofen was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Plaschischen through an amazing save. Real Simmering's Ivan Burschick got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
