The supporters of Steggraben booed when Musab 33 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rainer Feckter didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nico Theinert came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Steggraben fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Theinert couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Ralf Unger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Musab 33 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Steggraben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willi Kardell to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Fabian Nitsch sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Heilek skillfully saved the ball. Alex Heilek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Oppermann in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Nico Theinert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steggraben fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Musab 33's zone, Nico Theinert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Rösler came out of the goal and Nico Theinert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stephan Hübner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 40 minutes, Rainer Feckter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Musab 33 and the Steggraben players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Steggraben booed when Musab 33 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rainer Feckter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stephan Hübner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Rösler having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Oppermann in the 52nd minute of play forced Steggraben's goalkeeper Alex Heilek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Rösler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Theinert in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stephan Hübner got free with Tobias Rösler in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Stephan Hübner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tobias Rösler. That made the score 1-2 in the 66 minute of play. Stephan Hübner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Steggraben's zone, Ralf Unger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Heilek came out of the goal and Ralf Unger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stephan Hübner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Rösler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Theinert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 78 minutes, Nico Theinert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steggraben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Theinert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Steggraben's Nico Theinert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Rösler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nico Theinert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes, Steggraben's Jan-Nicolas Schumann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tobias Rösler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Steggraben reached it. Stephan Hübner might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Rösler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stephan Hübner ran back to his position shaking his head. If Nico Theinert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Steggraben left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Musab 33.
