Breitteich's Fatih Dombrowsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Bist in the 14th minute of play. Tony Hassel kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Steven Schlesiger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klaus Ebus. Niederlebing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steven Schlesiger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Steven Schlesiger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klaus Ebus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Klaus Ebus made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Steven Schlesiger sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Christof Zach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niederlebing's supporters rose to their feet, but Christof Zach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fatih Dombrowsky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steven Schlesiger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klaus Ebus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Hänsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klaus Ebus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Schlesiger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Niederlebing's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Hänsel came free, but Klaus Ebus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Niederlebing's zone, Steven Schlesiger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaus Ebus came out of the goal and Steven Schlesiger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steven Schlesiger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dennis Hänsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Dennis Hänsel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Breitteich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niederlebing the free kick. Christof Zach might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fatih Dombrowsky. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christof Zach ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, Christof Zach fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Niederlebing players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Breitteich.
