Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc Schreiber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo-Fabian Tyroff in the 37th minute of the match. If Marcel Haberer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Tobias Hörnes tried in the game's 51st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Steven Birmes. An annoying self made goal, 3-3. Lucas Dobinski hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marc Schreiber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Struck in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niels Furst in the 69th minute of play forced FC Corona's goalkeeper Steven Birmes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ronny Kirchner fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Corona's protests and gave Ronny Kirchner a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of FC Corona:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Scharfling FC:s goal. In the 73rd minute, Lucas Dobinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scharfling FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Marcel Haberer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Scharfling FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
