Spectators: 7678 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden took the kick off in the first half of the match. Patrick Wiedemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Bosch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Nico Hirsch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nitzling's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Hirsch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Wiedemann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Bosch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nico Hirsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wiedemann having to interfere. Michael Bosch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Michael Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikes XI's Patrick Wiedemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Bosch in the 39th minute of play. Mikes XI's Niels Hendricks got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, Nitzling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Schütt to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Wiedemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Hirsch in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Michael Bosch notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mikes XI's Patrick Wiedemann. Patrick Wiedemann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The throw-in from Peter Schütt in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mikes XI's Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden. Patrick Wiedemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Bosch, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Bosch in the 59th minute of play forced Mikes XI's goalkeeper Patrick Wiedemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes, Bernd Paroth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mikes XI and the Nitzling players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nitzling booed when Mikes XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernd Paroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Michael Bosch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Wiedemann. Mikes XI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Bosch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Bosch in the 65th minute of play forced Mikes XI's goalkeeper Patrick Wiedemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Nitzling's Nico Hirsch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Wiedemann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Michael Bosch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Michael Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Helge Strauch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nitzling's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mikes XI the free kick. Helge Strauch kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Mikes XI's Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Helge Strauch got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play Mikes XI's Bernd Paroth was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
