Spectators: 7661 (Terracing: 5787, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 100) FC Corona's Timo-Fabian Tyroff started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Timo-Fabian Tyroff might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Wiedemann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timo-Fabian Tyroff ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrick Wiedemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Hirtzel in the 9th minute of the match. Timo-Fabian Tyroff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wiedemann having to interfere. Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Steven Birmes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mikes XI. When Robin Unterberger came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FC Corona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Unterberger couldn't finish the play. 0-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Timo-Fabian Tyroff elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Timo-Fabian Tyroff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wiedemann having to interfere. Patrick Wiedemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Unterberger in the 29th minute of play. When Tobias Söhner fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mikes XI's protests and gave Tobias Söhner a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mikes XI fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for FC Corona. Ronny Kirchner stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Patrick Wiedemann. 0-2. Hugo Struck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timo-Fabian Tyroff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wiedemann having to interfere. FC Corona's attentive Robin Unterberger managed to snatch the ball when Tobias Söhner made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Patrick Wiedemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo-Fabian Tyroff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Struck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wiedemann having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden to make the kick off. The supporters of Mikes XI booed when FC Corona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Hirtzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timo-Fabian Tyroff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wiedemann having to interfere. In the 58thth minute of the game Björn Hirtzel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mikes XI's Patrick Wiedemann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Mikes XI booed when FC Corona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Hirtzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timo-Fabian Tyroff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wiedemann having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Hugo Struck managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Corona's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Struck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Wiedemann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timo-Fabian Tyroff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Wiedemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo-Fabian Tyroff in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Corona had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
