Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 10th minute of the match, Nico Hirsch got a very nice opportunity to score, but Steven Birmes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 11th match minute, FC Corona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Hirtzel to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Corona's Timo-Fabian Tyroff got a free kick in the 12th minute. Timo-Fabian Tyroff took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederik Grunewald. Frederik Grunewald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hugo Struck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Michael Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Timo-Fabian Tyroff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nitzling's Nico Hirsch got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Corona's Robert Geier got a free kick in the 30th minute. Stefan-Benjamin Broich took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frederik Grunewald. Nitzling's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timo-Fabian Tyroff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timo-Fabian Tyroff in the 43rd minute of play forced Nitzling's goalkeeper Frederik Grunewald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Nico Hirsch could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Steven Birmes however easily saved by the left post. After the first half FC Corona were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timo-Fabian Tyroff to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nitzling's Jonas Weber got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Timo-Fabian Tyroff came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FC Corona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timo-Fabian Tyroff couldn't finish the play. Hugo Struck struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Frederik Grunewald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Corona. A sloppy throw-in by Hans Bär in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Corona's Robin Unterberger. If Robin Unterberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes, Robert Geier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Corona and the Nitzling players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nitzling booed when FC Corona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Geier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helge Strauch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Steven Birmes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Hugo Struck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Grunewald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, FC Corona's Timo-Fabian Tyroff made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederik Grunewald was left in no man's land by his defense there! Michael Bosch struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Nitzling's Frederik Grunewald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Struck in the 89th minute of play. Timo-Fabian Tyroff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederik Grunewald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Benjamin Lakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute Timo-Fabian Tyroff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Grunewald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Björn Hirtzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Corona's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
