Matthias Dörfler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Zerressen having to make a save. Julian Hainl kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Dirk Koppers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Leon Zerressen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th play minute Dirk Koppers came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leon Zerressen. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Dirk Koppers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Zerressen was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th match minute, FC Hofer08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Päzel to maneuver through the defense. Matthias Berrisch hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Hofer08's Matthias Dörfler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leon Zerressen. That made the score 2-1 after 27 minutes of play. Dirk Koppers's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Leon Zerressen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominik Brunmayr showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dirk Koppers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Vorort's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Koppers came free, but Leon Zerressen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dirk Koppers might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Zerressen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dirk Koppers ran back to his position shaking his head. Torsten Lembke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gernot Wölfer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Dominik Brunmayr made a huge save. Rafael Deck hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, FC Hofer08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Pfeifenberger to maneuver through the defense. Leon Zerressen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk Koppers in the 68th minute of the match. Timo Schmielau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Zerressen having to interfere. Timo Schmielau struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Leon Zerressen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hofer08. After having played for 74 minutes, Dirk Koppers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hofer08's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk Koppers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Zerressen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Päzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timo Schmielau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Zerressen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Dörfler in the 78th minute of the match. Timo Schmielau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dirk Koppers came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FC Hofer08 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dirk Koppers couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Vorort's zone, Matthias Dörfler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Zerressen came out of the goal and Matthias Dörfler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Vorort's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Dörfler came free, but Leon Zerressen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vorort's Leon Zerressen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Koppers in the 90th minute of play. After 92 played minutes FC Hofer08 got a freekick which was hit by Walter Päzel.
