In a very dangerous position, a player in Vorort fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Leon Zerressen, was totally fooled by Lainken FSV's Tobias Klopp, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 21st match minute, Lainken FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirco Fehringer to maneuver through the defense. If Tobias Klopp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Schumann's late challenge caught a Vorort's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torsten Lembke made a kick off.
