Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Heiko Nelsen started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Heiko Nelsen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GFB Austria's Filipe Viegas. Filipe Viegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Federico Alessandrini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Bernd Gunawan made a huge save. Bernd Gunawan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Dahmen in the 11th minute of play. Ruben Dahmen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernd Gunawan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, GFB Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Dahmen to maneuver through the defense. Bernd Gunawan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Dahmen in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Fenerbahce SK Wien getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Nico-Pascal Divis hit a great ball. Rene Divis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. GFB Austria's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 27th minute Ruben Dahmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Gunawan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fenerbahce SK Wien's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Rene Divis scored to the left of an out of position Bernd Gunawan, making the score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Schelm in the 33rd minute of play forced Fenerbahce SK Wien's goalkeeper Bernd Gunawan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Divis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernd Gunawan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahce SK Wien's zone, Federico Alessandrini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernd Gunawan came out of the goal and Federico Alessandrini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Ruben Dahmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Alessandrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Gunawan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Björn Schelm managed to get in a good position for a shot. GFB Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Schelm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernd Gunawan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruben Dahmen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Federico Alessandrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Gunawan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ruben Dahmen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernd Gunawan was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Fenerbahce SK Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Schelm came free, but Bernd Gunawan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, GFB Austria's Ruben Dahmen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernd Gunawan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Federico Alessandrini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernd Gunawan was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Alessandrini in the 79th minute of play forced Fenerbahce SK Wien's goalkeeper Bernd Gunawan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahce SK Wien's Heiko Nelsen got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Federico Alessandrini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernd Gunawan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Björn Schelm came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the GFB Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Schelm couldn't finish the play. Björn Schelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bernd Gunawan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernd Gunawan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Alessandrini in the 94th minute of play. GFB Austria's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
