Zeissing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Wien the free kick. In the 11th minute, Niclas Brossart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Tim Knebel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Wien fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jost Konermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Zeissing's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Jansch came free, but Niclas Wettinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Tim Knebel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Wien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Knebel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claas Martin charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claas Martin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zeissing getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Claas Martin hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Fc Wien's goalkeeper Rafael Thoma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dustin Muench. The supporters of Zeissing booed when Fc Wien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Hermann Wassermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Blumentritt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rafael Thoma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niclas Wettinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Knebel in the 47th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliver Blumentritt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Tim Knebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans-Hermann Wassermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Niclas Wettinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Fc Wien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Albers to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dustin Muench in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Thoma saved Fc Wien from getting behind. Niclas Wettinger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Knebel in the 64th minute. If Tim Knebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hans-Hermann Wassermann came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Fc Wien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Hermann Wassermann couldn't finish the play. Dustin Muench blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Thoma having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Oliver Blumentritt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Thoma was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Fc Wien's attentive Yannic Saussle managed to snatch the ball when Niclas Brossart made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game.
