Fahrenbach's Tristan Buntzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Moser in the 3rd minute of play. When Falterschein's Marvin Kienast in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tristan Buntzel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andre Moser went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mirco Kaltwasser hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Mirco Kaltwasser's late challenge caught a Falterschein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a little luck, Fahrenbach's Tristan Buntzel got control of the ball when Mathias Wollbrinck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fahrenbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Neher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mathias Wollbrinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steffen Jansen came out of the goal and Rolf Paschmanns tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
