With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Sedlak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, RedBull Vienna's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Vieth came free, but Adrian Sedlak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Fight Club's Marc-André Grabowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Sedlak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Fight Club's zone, Robin Wimmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin-Maximilian Pickartz came out of the goal and Robin Wimmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the game, Fight Club's Marc-André Grabowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Vieth in the 19th minute of play forced RedBull Vienna's goalkeeper Adrian Sedlak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Ivanschitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Sedlak having to interfere. Torsten Vieth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Adrian Sedlak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Vieth struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Adrian Sedlak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fight Club. After 28 played minutes RedBull Vienna got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Tetzloff. In the 31stth minute of the game Torsten Vieth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RedBull Vienna's Adrian Sedlak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Rafael Ivanschitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fight Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Ivanschitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes RedBull Vienna got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Pfaff. A collision led to RedBull Vienna getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Leonard Junglas hit a great ball. Rafael Ivanschitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Sedlak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Vieth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Marc-André Grabowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Adrian Sedlak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hubert Pfaff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Constantin-Maximilian Pickartz made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torsten Vieth made a kick off. Hubert Pfaff struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Adrian Sedlak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torsten Vieth in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Sedlak saved RedBull Vienna from getting behind. After having played for 79 minutes, Sven-Philipp Schaaf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fight Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Philipp Schaaf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torsten Vieth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Adrian Sedlak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Torsten Vieth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marc-André Grabowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RedBull Vienna's Adrian Sedlak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Vieth in the 93rd minute of play. Adrian Sedlak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Vieth in the 95th minute of the match. Marc-André Grabowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fight Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
