If Bastian Herzog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes of play, FC Kärnten's Bastian Herzog made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermann Zommer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stephan-Andreas Krause kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Hermann Zommer came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kärnten's Bastian Herzog. But to his dismay, Bastian Herzog quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. FC Kärnten's Bastian Herzog got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Thomas Lainer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Steffen Rose. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 35th minute, Benjamin Lazu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute Bastian Herzog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Zommer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Lainer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Steffen Rose tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Thomas Lainer made the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Lazus short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Hermann Zommer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Schleissheim's Hermann Zommer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Schleissheim from getting a goal against them. Bastian Vandenhirtz charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bastian Vandenhirtz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Bastian Vandenhirtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Bottcher hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Schleissheim's goalkeeper Hermann Zommer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Lazu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Lazu got free with Hermann Zommer in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermann Zommer was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Bastian Herzog capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bastian Herzog really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Jörg Finkel kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Hermann Zommer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Benjamin Lazu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Hermann Zommer made a huge save. Hermann Zommer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Lazu in the 83rd minute. Bastian Herzog struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Hermann Zommer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kärnten. The Schleissheim fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Kärnten were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
