Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomas Lainer started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Schleissheim's Hermann Zommer got control of the ball when Erik Behrens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermann Zommer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochen Cremer, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Matthäus Maurer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Lainer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermann Zommer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norman Jeremies in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochen Cremer in the 21st minute of play forced Schleissheim's goalkeeper Hermann Zommer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norman Jeremies could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Hermann Zommer made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Schleissheim's goalkeeper Hermann Zommer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norman Jeremies. 27 minutes into the game, Dennis Krammer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Matthäus Maurer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Schleissheim's Hermann Zommer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jochen Cremer in the 31st minute of play. After 37 played minutes Schleissheim got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Lainer. Jochen Cremer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermann Zommer having to interfere. Schleissheim's Hermann Zommer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Schleissheim from getting a goal against them. If Norman Jeremies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Schleissheim were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jochen Cremer made a kick off. Oliver Gehlen struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Hermann Zommer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Almenland. The supporters of FC Almenland booed when Schleissheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan-Andreas Krause didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jochen Cremer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jochen Cremer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 minutes, Leonard Bottcher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schleissheim and the FC Almenland players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Schleissheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Bottcher to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rdth minute of the game Jochen Cremer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schleissheim's Hermann Zommer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jochen Cremer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Almenland's Herbert Karneil suffered a sore thigh after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Thomas Lainer's late challenge caught a FC Almenland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Lainer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Schleissheim getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Thomas Lainer hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Norman Jeremies had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermann Zommer. Schleissheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norman Jeremies was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Norman Jeremies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dennis Krammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Almenland's Tom Balko got a free kick in the 89th minute. With a little luck, FC Almenland's Matthäus Maurer got control of the ball when Frederik Kappestein tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 91 minutes, Frederik Kappestein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schleissheim and the FC Almenland players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Schleissheim getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Frederik Kappestein hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Norman Jeremies managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Almenland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norman Jeremies was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Almenland were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
