RedBull Vienna's Robin Wimmer got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hubert Pfaff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RedBull Vienna's Adrian Sedlak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jochen Cremer in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Norman Jeremies managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Almenland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norman Jeremies was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, RedBull Vienna's goal looked a bit too open when Jochen Cremer came free, but Adrian Sedlak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norman Jeremies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jochen Cremer might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Sedlak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jochen Cremer ran back to his position shaking his head. Jochen Cremer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Ivo Tetzloff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Norman Jeremies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Jochen Cremer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Sedlak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Sedlak came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Almenland's Jochen Cremer. But to his dismay, Jochen Cremer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 39 minutes into the game, Norman Jeremies cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Adrian Sedlak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Robin Wimmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. RedBull Vienna's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Wimmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthäus Maurer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Jochen Cremer notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of RedBull Vienna's Adrian Sedlak. Adrian Sedlak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jochen Cremer was the one to do the kick off. Norman Jeremies received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Adrian Sedlak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RedBull Vienna's Adrian Sedlak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jochen Cremer in the 60th minute of play. Adrian Sedlak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norman Jeremies in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Norman Jeremies managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Almenland's supporters rose to their feet, but Norman Jeremies was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Sedlak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Sedlak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jochen Cremer's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Matthäus Maurer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Wimmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Norman Jeremies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Sedlak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochen Cremer in the 75th minute of play. Adrian Sedlak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jochen Cremer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Bastian Schumann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Norman Jeremies managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Almenland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norman Jeremies was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Almenland's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Gärtner in the 99th minute. The corner ended in David Gärtner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RedBull Vienna's Adrian Sedlak did a great save. FC Almenland played a much better game than RedBull Vienna and deserved their victory. The RedBull Vienna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
