Norman Jeremies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerhard Handke having to interfere. The supporters of FC Feuerzwerge booed when FC Almenland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norman Jeremies didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes in the game Olaf Gutsche did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Patrik Gerolstein. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Gerolstein in the 28th minute of play forced FC Almenland's goalkeeper Matthäus Maurer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Almenland's Matthäus Maurer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC Almenland from getting a goal against them. After having played for 31 minutes, Patrik Gerolstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Feuerzwerge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Gerolstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herbert Karneil hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Olaf Gutsche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bastian Schumann's late challenge caught a FC Feuerzwerge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bastian Schumann helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Almenland getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bastian Schumann hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Jan Zahl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthäus Maurer skillfully saved the ball. Norman Jeremies's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerhard Handke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute Patrik Gerolstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthäus Maurer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Zahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthäus Maurer having to interfere. Olaf Gutsche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Matthäus Maurer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Aumann hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Gerhard Handke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norman Jeremies went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrik Gerolstein in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthäus Maurer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olaf Gutsche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although FC Feuerzwerge had been in control for most of the match, FC Almenland still came away with the win.
