Patrik Gerolstein who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Frederic Munderloh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Gutsche in the 23rd minute of play forced Sparbaregg's goalkeeper Frederic Munderloh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerhard Handke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Hermanseder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Hermanseder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Feuerzwerge getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jan Zahl hit a great ball. Gerhard Handke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Hermanseder, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Felix Aumann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Zahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederic Munderloh having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sparbaregg's goalkeeper Frederic Munderloh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mirko Ahrendt was the one to do the kick off. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Feuerzwerge had played much better football throughout.
