Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jörg Holst started the match with the kick off. Jan-Hauke Schneider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulrich Pätzold in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Prater's Jan-Hauke Homolka got a free kick in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulrich Pätzold kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan-Hauke Schneider. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Thomas Drescher charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Drescher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Prater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Drescher to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Jörg Holst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villacher Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörg Holst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niko Kaiwesch charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niko Kaiwesch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Niko Kaiwesch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulrich Pätzold's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan-Hauke Schneider firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 19th match minute, Prater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Fritschken to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Prater's Jan-Hauke Schneider got control of the ball when Ulrich Pätzold tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Jörg Holst fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jan-Hauke Schneider, passed just outside the right post. Jan-Hauke Schneider made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ulrich Pätzold sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörg Holst in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Hauke Schneider saved Prater from getting behind. In the 37th minute of the match, Ulrich Pätzold got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jan-Hauke Schneider was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 39th minute of the match Villacher Fc got a corner. Prater's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wolf Frühauf ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Villacher Fc's corner Wolf Frühauf fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan-Hauke Schneider quite easily take care of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Prater's goal looked a bit too open when Jörg Holst came free, but Jan-Hauke Schneider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Jörg Holst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villacher Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörg Holst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktor Fritschken's late challenge caught a Villacher Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Fritschken helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Villacher Fc booed when Prater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Fritschken didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jörg Holst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timo Feldhofer was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Vanik in the 52nd minute of play forced Prater's goalkeeper Jan-Hauke Schneider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rico Gräber might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Oliver Oberleitner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rico Gräber ran back to his position shaking his head. Rico Gräber struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jan-Oliver Oberleitner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prater. In the 61stth minute of the game Ulrich Pätzold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prater's Jan-Hauke Schneider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rico Gräber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Hauke Schneider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrich Pätzold in the 68th minute of play. Jörg Holst took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Hauke Schneider. Jan-Hauke Schneider dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Ulrich Pätzold came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Villacher Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulrich Pätzold couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the game, Till Achteresch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prater's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villacher Fc the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Prater fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Jan-Hauke Schneider stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulrich Pätzold's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 86th minute, Jörg Holst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulrich Pätzold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Hauke Schneider having to interfere. When Jan-Hauke Homolka came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Prater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Hauke Homolka couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Villacher Fc's Ulrich Pätzold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Hauke Schneider narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulrich Pätzold in the 100th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Hauke Schneider prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Villacher Fc were the better team. Villacher Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
