Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Timo Feldhofer got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the match, ASK Kottingbrunn's Kai-Uwe Kreuzmann broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 11th minute, Rico Lachenicht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Prater booed when ASK Kottingbrunn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Selinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joschka Kreusch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Hauke Schneider having to interfere. Joschka Kreusch struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jan-Hauke Schneider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASK Kottingbrunn. Timo Feldhofer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Seifert having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Prater's zone, Joschka Kreusch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Hauke Schneider came out of the goal and Joschka Kreusch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Joschka Kreusch came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the ASK Kottingbrunn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joschka Kreusch couldn't finish the play. Jan-Hauke Schneider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Hasselberg in the 41st minute of the match. Jürgen Hasselberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jan-Hauke Schneider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Hauke Schneider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joschka Kreusch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ASK Kottingbrunn's Philipp Seifert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save ASK Kottingbrunn from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Viktor Fritschken fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prater's protests and gave Viktor Fritschken a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Prater got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Fritschken. After having played for 55 minutes, Jürgen Hasselberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASK Kottingbrunn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jürgen Hasselberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, ASK Kottingbrunn's Joschka Kreusch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Hauke Schneider narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Philipp Seifert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Feldhofer in the 61st minute of the match. Rico Gräber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Seifert having to interfere. Timo Feldhofer might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philipp Seifert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timo Feldhofer ran back to his position shaking his head. If Timo Feldhofer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jürgen Hasselberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rico Gräber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Philipp Seifert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Johann Bunischew mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASK Kottingbrunn and the Prater players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, ASK Kottingbrunn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johann Bunischew to maneuver through the defense.
