Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Roman Bovenschen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. VAN DIJK's Simon Diem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save VAN DIJK from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Bovenschen in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Diem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the game, Lions's Roman Bovenschen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Diem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Lions's Tim Fischer got a free kick in the 24th minute. Simon Diem was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roman Bovenschen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. Lions's Roman Bovenschen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 41 minutes of play, Lions's Robert Quednau made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Diem was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Lions fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Lions's Roman Bovenschen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christopher Fortmann made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Roman Bovenschen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Diem. VAN DIJK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Bovenschen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 62nd minute, Ralf-Joachim Heinicke made a precise shot to the right of Simon Diem. VAN DIJK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. In the 66thth minute of the game Roman Bovenschen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VAN DIJK's Simon Diem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roman Bovenschen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Diem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Quednau in the 69th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Roman Bovenschen sped through VAN DIJK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Simon Diem. After a defensive mix-up in VAN DIJK's zone, Roman Bovenschen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Diem came out of the goal and Roman Bovenschen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Bovenschen in the 75th minute of play forced VAN DIJK's goalkeeper Simon Diem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Robert Quednau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Diem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Roman Bovenschen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Diem was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Roman Bovenschen succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 13-0. Simon Diem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Bovenschen in the 91st minute of play. Robert Quednau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Diem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Roman Bovenschen notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of VAN DIJK's Simon Diem. Simon Diem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lions fully deserved thier win.
