The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Helmar Picht was the one to do the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Schwab made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Fabian Roth sent off a good shot on target. Matthias Schultz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Thomas Schwab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Roth's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thomas Schwab firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lukas Grassow charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukas Grassow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
