Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Helmar Picht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claus Hörtnagel took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elmar Gschwendtner. Elmar Gschwendtner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claus Hörtnagel in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elmar Gschwendtner saved Pischkberg from getting behind. After some careless play in the Pischkberg defense, Claus Hörtnagel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elmar Gschwendtner. The Pischkberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elmar Gschwendtner should have stopped the shot. Elmar Gschwendtner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmar Picht in the 11th minute of play. If Holger Bade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Arzberg booed when Pischkberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Natusch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes Pischkberg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jannick Spreitzer who took care of the corner kick. Holger Bade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Thomas Schwab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arzberg's Thomas Schwab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Arzberg from getting a goal against them. Arzberg's Thomas Schwab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Rocks in the 37th minute of play. If Dennis Rocks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Arzberg's Dario Welser got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Elmar Gschwendtner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helmar Picht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Holger Bade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elmar Gschwendtner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andy Preil in the 52nd minute. Elmar Gschwendtner made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Claus Hörtnagel sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, Dennis Rocks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jannick Spreitzer, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pischkberg's Elmar Gschwendtner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helmar Picht in the 64th minute of play. Elmar Gschwendtner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmar Picht in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Helmar Picht's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elmar Gschwendtner was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 72nd minute, Helmar Picht fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Claus Hörtnagel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Elmar Gschwendtner made a huge save. Helmar Picht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmar Gschwendtner having to interfere. Helmar Picht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Helmar Picht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elmar Gschwendtner stood somewhat misplaced when Claus Hörtnagel came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 90 minute. 94 minutes into the match, Arzberg's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Rocks came free, but Thomas Schwab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claus Hörtnagel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Elmar Gschwendtner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arzberg's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
