Simon Kühle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Nussbaum in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malte Verpoort in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Achim Geiblinger saved Kogelberg FC from getting behind. After 32 played minutes Kogelberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikolas Ritschel. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Ziehsow to make the kick off. But to his dismay, Roland Gärtner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 76 minutes into the match, Kogelberg FC's Nikolas Ritschel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Kühle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Malte Verpoort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Malte Verpoort put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Achim Geiblinger. Urschulz FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
