Enno Ziegler helped the player get up and apologised. Enno Ziegler hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A collision led to Powerdingen getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Michael Busch hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Jakob Jagemann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julius Walhöfer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Matthias Mischo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Öllerich-Dawe, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Matthias Mischo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urs-Peter Pantel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Sehlengehr's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Busch came free, but Matthias Mischo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Öllerich-Dawe kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Busch in the 33rd minute of play forced Sehlengehr's goalkeeper Matthias Mischo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Jagemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julius Walhöfer made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Jakob Jagemann sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Matthias Gerat made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Powerdingen's Matthias Mischo threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matthias Gerat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sehlengehr's goalkeeper Matthias Mischo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Thren during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sehlengehr's Robin Thren got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Matthias Mischo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Urs-Peter Pantel managed to get in a good position for a shot. The tension between the Powerdingen and the Sehlengehr players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lars Öllerich-Dawe kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Matthias Mischo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Michael Busch showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 80 minute of play. Matthias Gerat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Matthias Mischo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
