Andreas Hanschirik might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julius Walhöfer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Hanschirik ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 played minutes Super W got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Hanschirik. Julius Walhöfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Pluta, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Urs-Peter Pantel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Jonas Bongartz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 20 in the game by Urs-Peter Pantel from a close distance when the talented Jonas Bongartz managed to make a qualified save. Super W's players were relieved. Matthias Gerat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes Powerdingen got a freekick which was hit by Jan Scheffler. After 26 played minutes, Super W's Wilhelm Pluta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julius Walhöfer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Super W reached it. 34 minutes in the game, Matthias Gerat fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonas Bongartz having to interfere. Julius Walhöfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Hanschirik in the 41st minute of the match. Andreas Hanschirik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julius Walhöfer having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthias Gerat made a kick off. Urs-Peter Pantel's late challenge caught a Super W's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urs-Peter Pantel helped the player get up and apologised. 56 minutes into the game, one of Powerdingen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Super W. Wilhelm Pluta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julius Walhöfer. 0-1. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Super W's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yannik Orlob was slow to take the kick. During this time Powerdingen's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Yannik Orlob got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonas Bongartz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Andreas Hanschirik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Powerdingen's Julius Walhöfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Hanschirik in the 73rd minute of play. Florian Matthies hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Yannik Orlob took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonas Bongartz. Super W's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 76 played minutes Super W got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Kamps. Christoph Wolter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Andreas Hanschirik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Super W's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Hanschirik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andreas Hanschirik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Blank's late challenge caught a Powerdingen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Blank helped the player get up and apologised. 95 minutes into the match, Super W's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Gerat came free, but Jonas Bongartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Super W players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
