After a rather tough play, Neukettenhof's Andre Stadler got a free kick in the 37th minute. Norbert Hörtnagel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Johannes Kaspitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tom Kaumanns was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The wind increased when Johannes Kaspitz made the kick off in the second half. Peter Nieth hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Mirko Giurgin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tom Kaumanns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Johannes Kaspitz sped through Neukettenhof's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tom Kaumanns. 73 minutes into the match, FC Pulst's goal looked a bit too open when Mats-Alexander Sittarz came free, but Dennis-Sven Stiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats-Alexander Sittarz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Dennis-Sven Stiel made a huge save. Dennis-Sven Stiel came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Neukettenhof's Ralph Friedrich. But to his dismay, Ralph Friedrich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 86 minutes of play, FC Pulst's Johannes Kaspitz made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
