Urs Stein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but David-Pascal Unterligauer made a huge save. Pelmberg's David-Pascal Unterligauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis-Sven Pupeter in the 39th minute of play. David-Pascal Unterligauer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Hendrik Cuypers, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. David-Pascal Unterligauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis-Sven Pupeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Urban charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Urban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bergheim FSV's Axel Urban got a free kick in the 60th minute. With his leg Tim Vortkamp managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Pelmberg's Guga Marques fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peter Frantzen hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Lars Schönberg put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Bergheim FSV booed when Pelmberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Schönberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Axel Urban was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. Bergheim FSV's Dennis-Sven Pupeter got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Bergheim FSV got a freekick which was hit by Dennis-Sven Pupeter.
