An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Neher in the 8th minute of play forced Glashoch Rangers's goalkeeper Steffen Partsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sebastian Neher fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Sturm II's protests and gave Sebastian Neher a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes SK Sturm II got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Neher. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis-Sven Strobl in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaus Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klaus Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Kleimeier in the 12th minute of the match. Steffen Partsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Neher in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Dennis-Sven Strobl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis-Sven Strobl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steffen Partsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Neher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SK Sturm II getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sebastian Neher hit a great ball. A hard shot by Ralf Kleimeier from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Klaus Koehler's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Glashoch Rangers booed when SK Sturm II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Neher didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes SK Sturm II got a freekick which was hit by Till Harloff. With his leg Klaus Koehler managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Glashoch Rangers's Dennis-Sven Strobl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Klaus Koehler was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ralf Kleimeier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Bernd Unterligauer made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Sebastian Neher got a very nice opportunity to score, but Steffen Partsch was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Dennis-Sven Strobl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Klaus Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Neumann in the 59th minute of the match. Steffen Partsch was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Bernd Unterligauer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernd Unterligauer really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The long shot by Jan Salmutter in the 66th minute really tested Steffen Partsch's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 67 played minutes Glashoch Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Frederic Ulrich. When Sebastian Neher came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the SK Sturm II fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Neher couldn't finish the play. Bernd Unterligauer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Steffen Partsch came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernd Unterligauer slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Glashoch Rangers's goalkeeper Steffen Partsch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andy Joppe. After a rather tough play, Glashoch Rangers's Julien-Nils Bosch got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Christian Unterligauer's late challenge caught a Glashoch Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Unterligauer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Christian Unterligauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Dennis-Sven Strobl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Klaus Koehler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Glashoch Rangers's Steffen Partsch got control of the ball when Till Harloff tried to sneak it across the goal line. Steffen Partsch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernd Unterligauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Till Harloff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Steffen Partsch made a huge save. In the 86th minute Michael-Jan Thurnberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Partsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the SK Sturm II players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Glashoch Rangers.
