The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, Linetshub's Philipp Huthmacher made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, Maxcan's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Huthmacher came free, but Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Huthmacher in the 12th minute of the match. Linetshub's Daniel Olejmeulen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Krause in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Dustin Brückner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Dustin Brückner could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel however easily saved by the left post. Maxcan's Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Maxcan from getting a goal against them. If Raphael Krause had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Linetshub's Dirk Schertz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Maxcan's Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philipp Huthmacher in the 38th minute of play. Raphael Krause fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Olejmeulen having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Maxcan's goalkeeper Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dirk Schertz. Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Köhler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

A hard shot by Jürgen Heringer from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Daniel Olejmeulen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 55 minutes into the match, Maxcan's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Köhler came free, but Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dustin Brückner in the 57th minute of play forced Maxcan's goalkeeper Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Maxcan's Jürgen Heringer got a free kick in the 58th minute. Daniel Olejmeulen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Krause, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 73rd minute Joachim Köhler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fatih Ballik in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Olejmeulen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Maxcan's Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Schertz in the 80th minute of play. With 82 minutes on the clock, Jürgen Heringer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Köhler in the 85th minute of play forced Maxcan's goalkeeper Norman-Alexander Hastenteufel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
