Anzenberg's Heinz-Dieter Hendricks got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcel Schiborr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xamo Moreira's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Xamo Moreira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcel Schiborr. That made the score 0-8 in the 73 minute of play. Leon Barten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Marcel Schiborr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Joachim Overesch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leon Barten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Xamo Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Schiborr. Bor. Dortmund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xamo Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Marcel Schiborr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xamo Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
