In the 29th match minute, RBC TRS Lentia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Knoppertz to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Langfeld's Jan-Hauke Almer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Steffen Geldreich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Langfeld booed when RBC TRS Lentia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Braitenbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match, Leonard Nicolin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Steffen Geldreich was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas-Andreas Zupancic was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, RBC TRS Lentia's Joachim Braitenbach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. RBC TRS Lentia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Langfeld the free kick. The audience was convinced that Jan-Hauke Almer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steffen Geldreich was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When Joachim Braitenbach came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the RBC TRS Lentia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joachim Braitenbach couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Langfeld's Stephan Pörschke got a free kick in the 70th minute. After recieving a nice pass, RBC TRS Lentia's Matthias Priebsch tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Langfeld getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mario Grabner hit a great ball. RBC TRS Lentia's Joachim Braitenbach got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Langfeld's Steve Schmitzberger got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Langfeld's goalkeeper Pascal Tannhof, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christoph-Felix Divis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Pascal Tannhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joachim Braitenbach hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Jan-Hauke Almer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Langfeld getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Benjamin Sonnemans hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. RBC TRS Lentia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
