Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Florian Schmithuysen kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Achim Trapp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hurricane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achim Trapp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, FC Hurricane's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Schmithuysen came free, but Thom Nelson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Rütten in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thom Nelson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthäus Fischer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boven FC's Matthäus Fischer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Boven FC's Herbert Rütten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thom Nelson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer in the 44th minute of play forced Boven FC's goalkeeper Matthäus Fischer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florian Schmithuysen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herbert Rütten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thom Nelson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

FC Hurricane's Thom Nelson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Rütten in the 60th minute of play. Thom Nelson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Schmithuysen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boven FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer scored to the left of an out of position Matthäus Fischer, making the score, 2-2. If Herbert Rütten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hurricane's zone, Florian Schmithuysen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thom Nelson came out of the goal and Florian Schmithuysen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manfred Mayrhofer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thom Nelson having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
