David Teerbau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uwe Gennburg, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Gebersdorf's Michael Tschorn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Teerbau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Till-Julius Unger's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pascal Angenendt firmly grabbed it by the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Michael Tschorn notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kickersi's David Teerbau. David Teerbau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the match, Kickersi's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Gennburg came free, but David Teerbau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th play minute Till-Julius Unger came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pascal Angenendt. 1-2. Pascal Angenendt made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Till-Julius Unger sent off a good shot on target. Niko Aeuer charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niko Aeuer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Gebersdorf got a freekick which was hit by Niko Aeuer. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Patrik Weihs took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Pascal Angenendt to make any attempt to save it. 39 minutes into the match, Gebersdorf's goalkeeper Pascal Angenendt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torsten Linz. 42 minutes into the match, Kickersi's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Gennburg came free, but David Teerbau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Till-Julius Unger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kickersi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jonathan Molin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Uwe Gennburg in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Teerbau, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Patrik Weihs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Angenendt having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Uwe Gennburg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gebersdorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Michael Tschorn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. David Teerbau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Teerbau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Tschorn in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute Michael Tschorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Teerbau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Till-Julius Unger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kickersi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-6. David Teerbau made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Uwe Gennburg sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the game, Jonathan Molin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-7. David Teerbau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patrik Weihs might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascal Angenendt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Weihs ran back to his position shaking his head.
