Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florian Schmithuysen started the match with the kick off. Matthäus Fischer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemens Wilmann in the 4th minute of the match. 3-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Florian Schmithuysen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Wernhies 08's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Benedikt came free, but Steffen Jancker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Wernhies 08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Störmer to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Wernhies 08's zone, Florian Schmithuysen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Jancker came out of the goal and Florian Schmithuysen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steffen Jancker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Schmithuysen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Boven FC's Matthäus Fischer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemens Wilmann in the 27th minute of play. Jonas Fenstermacher hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Manfred Mayrhofer fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boven FC's protests and gave Manfred Mayrhofer a yellow card for diving instead. Michael Malliouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Matthäus Fischer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wernhies 08's Michael Malliouris got a free kick in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Wernhies 08's goalkeeper Steffen Jancker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Rütten. 41 minutes into the match, Wernhies 08's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Schmithuysen came free, but Steffen Jancker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Giese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Matthäus Fischer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Malliouris hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemens Wilmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Benedikt in the 53rd minute of play forced Wernhies 08's goalkeeper Steffen Jancker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steffen Jancker came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Boven FC's Florian Schmithuysen. But to his dismay, Florian Schmithuysen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Steffen Jancker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Schmithuysen in the 61st minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Michael Malliouris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wernhies 08's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boven FC the free kick. Florian Schmithuysen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Steffen Jancker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steffen Jancker came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Boven FC's Herbert Rütten. But to his dismay, Herbert Rütten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Rütten in the 73rd minute of play forced Wernhies 08's goalkeeper Steffen Jancker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Florian Schmithuysen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Jancker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lothar Reichel in the 75th minute of play forced Boven FC's goalkeeper Matthäus Fischer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemens Wilmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthäus Fischer having to interfere. Matthäus Fischer made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Robert Giese sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute Florian Schmithuysen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Jancker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Malliouris took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matthäus Fischer. Matthäus Fischer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Boven FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
