Marian Gross started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Red Bull Salzburg defense, Matthias Steinmetz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens Gaertner. The Red Bull Salzburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens Gaertner should have stopped the shot. Tim Hülsmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jens Gaertner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Red Bull Salzburg's Raphael Kreiner got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Turnitz FC's Dustin Divis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Kreiner in the 14th minute of play. Florian Hörbelt struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Dustin Divis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Bull Salzburg. Tim Hülsmann scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens Gaertner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Turnitz FC's Dustin Divis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Kreiner in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Raphael Kreiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dustin Divis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Bull Salzburg's goalkeeper Jens Gaertner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Tim Hülsmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turnitz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Bull Salzburg the free kick. Tim Hülsmann hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Raphael Kreiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turnitz FC's Dustin Divis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raphael Kreiner might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dustin Divis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raphael Kreiner ran back to his position shaking his head. After 35 played minutes Red Bull Salzburg got a freekick which was hit by Steven Hampen. Bernd Kilders kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Herbert Mende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens Gaertner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Florian Hörbelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin Mauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raphael Kreiner to strike the kick off in the second half. Niclas Kastener kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Raphael Kreiner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Dustin Divis made a huge save. Florian Hörbelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Raphael Kreiner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Bull Salzburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Kreiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Raphael Kreiner came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Red Bull Salzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Kreiner couldn't finish the play. Raphael Kreiner might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dustin Divis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raphael Kreiner ran back to his position shaking his head. With splendid footwork Raphael Kreiner arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 71st minute. Raphael Kreiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dustin Divis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Kreiner in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Ballik during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Florian Hörbelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Raphael Kreiner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Turnitz FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
