Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boven FC's Florian Schmithuysen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kickersi's David Teerbau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Schmithuysen in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Anton Brunck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boven FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kickersi the free kick. In the 6th minute, Anton Brunck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Norbert Barta fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kickersi's protests and gave Norbert Barta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kickersi getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Norbert Barta hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes Kickersi got a freekick which was hit by David Madel. When Anton Brunck came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Boven FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Brunck couldn't finish the play. Christian Schulten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Till-Julius Unger notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Boven FC's Matthäus Fischer. Matthäus Fischer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Herbert Rütten could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which David Teerbau however easily saved by the left post. In the 17th minute Boven FC were awarded a corner. Anton Brunck went to the cornerflag to take it. Jonas Fenstermacher made a great header on Boven FC's corner, it was just that Kickersi's David Teerbau managed to reach the ball for a save. When Till-Julius Unger came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Kickersi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Till-Julius Unger couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Rütten got free with David Teerbau in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24thth minute of the game Till-Julius Unger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boven FC's Matthäus Fischer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thomas Benedikt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Boven FC's zone, Torsten Linz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthäus Fischer came out of the goal and Torsten Linz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the game, Florian Schmithuysen lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated David Teerbau. Till-Julius Unger hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Weihs to make the kick off. Robin Kowalski hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrik Weihs got free with Matthäus Fischer in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kilian Kalvelage hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 55 minutes, Florian Schmithuysen made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kickersi's David Teerbau tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute, Jan Pierron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrik Weihs shot from long distance in the 59th minute, but Matthäus Fischer was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. When Till-Julius Unger came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Kickersi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Till-Julius Unger couldn't finish the play. Kilian Kalvelage's late challenge caught a Boven FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kilian Kalvelage helped the player get up and apologised. 66 minutes into the match, Manfred Mayrhofer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Teerbau. Kickersi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfred Mayrhofer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Florian Schmithuysen took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Teerbau. David Teerbau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. David Teerbau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Rütten in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Schulten in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matthäus Fischer saved Boven FC from getting behind. After 81 played minutes Kickersi got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Linz. In the 83rd minute Florian Schmithuysen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Teerbau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Christian Schulten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Schmithuysen kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Torsten Linz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kickersi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Linz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torsten Linz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Anton Brunck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boven FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Brunck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Teerbau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Till-Julius Unger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Matthäus Fischer made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Kickersi's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Benedikt came free, but David Teerbau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Teerbau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Benedikt, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Boven FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
