Spectators: 8450 (Terracing: 6375, Seating: 1955, VIP seats: 120) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paul Põhjala kicked off to start the match. Manchester united's Thomas Obergfell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Manchester united from getting a goal against them. Per-Erik Dusett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brynn La Forte in the 6th minute of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Frank-Dieter Jelden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester united's Thomas Obergfell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank-Dieter Jelden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Obergfell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Neno Burmov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Erik Dusett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Van Beneden made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 19thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Thomas Obergfell would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 21st minute, but Thomas Obergfell got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Manchester united hanging dry this time. Per-Erik Dusett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brynn La Forte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominik Van Beneden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Thomas Obergfell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank-Dieter Jelden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Manchester united's goal looked a bit too open when Frank-Dieter Jelden came free, but Thomas Obergfell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank-Dieter Jelden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank-Dieter Jelden kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Obergfell. That made the score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Frank-Dieter Jelden made the kick off in the second half. Thomas Obergfell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank-Dieter Jelden, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neno Burmov got free with Per-Erik Dusett in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paul Põhjala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Per-Erik Dusett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Obergfell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank-Dieter Jelden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led SC Eisenstadt's Peter Bauer to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomas Obergfell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Bauer in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Obergfell saved Manchester united from getting behind. Neno Burmov made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 66thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Per-Erik Dusett would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. SC Eisenstadt made a substitution. Sönke Hackert replaced Arthur Lederer. SC Eisenstadt's Tibor Landgrebe was substituted for Frank-Dieter Jelden. In the 69th minute of the match Manchester united got a corner. SC Eisenstadt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filiberto Lucero ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Filiberto Lucero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Eisenstadt's Per-Erik Dusett did a great save. In the 72nd minute, Paul Põhjala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute SC Eisenstadt were awarded a corner. Walter Bergmann went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led SC Eisenstadt's Tibor Landgrebe to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomas Obergfell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, SC Eisenstadt's goalkeeper Per-Erik Dusett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neno Burmov. Manchester united were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after SC Eisenstadt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filiberto Lucero took the corner. Neno Burmovs short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Per-Erik Dusett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Eisenstadt had won after a very even match.
