Norman Klimbacher scored 2-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dustin Lantzen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dustin Lantzen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Säuml in the 17th minute. Jan-André Martens kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Galatasaray SK's Arto Kaldmaa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for TRABZONSPOR. Stefan Schäfer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Dustin Lantzen made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Joakim Frankvig kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dustin Lantzen. That made the score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. Dustin Lantzen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Säuml in the 39th minute. After 41 played minutes Joakim Frankvig rounded TRABZONSPOR's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Schäfer got free with Dustin Lantzen in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduard Säuml to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, TRABZONSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Säuml came free, but Dustin Lantzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dustin Lantzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Ibertsberger in the 54th minute of the match. Dustin Lantzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Säuml, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Patrik Weyer got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Philip Ibertsberger came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Galatasaray SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Ibertsberger couldn't finish the play. Jan-Felix Graf kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Arto Kaldmaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dustin Lantzen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dustin Lantzen came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray SK's Joakim Frankvig. But to his dismay, Joakim Frankvig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 74th minute, Eduard Säuml left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galatasaray SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 81st minute Patrik Weyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dustin Lantzen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolae Chitimia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolae Chitimia in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dustin Lantzen saved TRABZONSPOR from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Joakim Frankvig notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of TRABZONSPOR's Dustin Lantzen. Dustin Lantzen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Frankvig in the 96th minute of play forced TRABZONSPOR's goalkeeper Dustin Lantzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Galatasaray SK were the better team. Galatasaray SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
