The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, AS Grubthal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Stober to maneuver through the defense. AS Grubthal's Marko Mayrhofer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaus Beudel in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Eduard Säuml had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marko Mayrhofer. AS Grubthal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduard Säuml was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Marko Mayrhofer didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Galatasaray SK's Eduard Säuml shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 59th minute, Beppe Catapano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Eduard Säuml notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of AS Grubthal's Marko Mayrhofer. Marko Mayrhofer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute Eduard Säuml suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 75th minute Adrian Adrian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Mayrhofer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of AS Grubthal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Galatasaray SK:s goal. The referee gave Galatasaray SK a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arto Kaldmaa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AS Grubthal's Marko Mayrhofer. 13-0. AS Grubthal's Marko Mayrhofer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Adrian in the 96th minute of play. If Norman Klimbacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 100thth minute of the game Klaus Beudel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AS Grubthal's Marko Mayrhofer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galatasaray SK had played much better football throughout.
