Dustin Lantzen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduard Säuml went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. TRABZONSPOR's Dustin Lantzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Säuml in the 11th minute of play. Eduard Säuml recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Klaus Beudel took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dustin Lantzen. Dustin Lantzen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 16th match minute, TRABZONSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Bauer to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Klaus Beudel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaus Beudel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dustin Lantzen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Norman Klimbacher made a precise shot to the right of Dustin Lantzen. TRABZONSPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Eduard Säuml put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Dustin Lantzen. 27 minutes into the game, Nicolae Chitimia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Dustin Lantzen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the game, Eduard Säuml cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Dustin Lantzen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Eduard Säuml made a precise shot to the right of Dustin Lantzen. TRABZONSPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Eduard Säuml sped through TRABZONSPOR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dustin Lantzen. 47 minutes into the game, Joakim Frankvig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Dustin Lantzen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Galatasaray SK were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eduard Säumls short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Dustin Lantzen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Galatasaray SK's Klaus Beudel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 60th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Dustin Lantzen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dustin Lantzen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Säuml in the 68th minute. Dustin Lantzen made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Eduard Säuml sent off a good shot on target. When Galatasaray SK's Eduard Säuml in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TRABZONSPOR's goalie prevented a goal. Dustin Lantzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaus Beudel in the 73rd minute of play. Dustin Lantzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Frankvig in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Mike Bauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klaus Beudel in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dustin Lantzen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dustin Lantzen came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray SK's Joakim Frankvig. But to his dismay, Joakim Frankvig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. With an all-out effort, Galatasaray SK's Dustin Lantzen threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Klaus Beudel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eduard Säuml kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot TRABZONSPOR's keeper Dustin Lantzen was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Joakim Frankvig took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dustin Lantzen. Dustin Lantzen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. The TRABZONSPOR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Galatasaray SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
