After 9 minutes Sports Club de DERSİM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Horst-Peter Unterberger who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Poli Timisoara's corner Tiger De Hond fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramón Abreu quite easily take care of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Sports Club de DERSİM's goal looked a bit too open when Bartosz Erland came free, but Ramón Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match Poli Timisoara got a corner. Sports Club de DERSİM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Horst-Peter Unterberger ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Primeiro in the 15th minute of play forced Sports Club de DERSİM's goalkeeper Ramón Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartosz Erland might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramón Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Çağdaş Yuvakuran ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Ovidiu Adrian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piara Veloz. Piara Veloz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Adrian made a huge save. In the 39th minute Poli Timisoara were awarded a corner. Horst-Peter Unterberger went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Poli Timisoara's corner Horst-Peter Unterberger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramón Abreu quite easily take care of the ball. Sports Club de DERSİM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poli Timisoara the free kick. The supporters of Poli Timisoara booed when Sports Club de DERSİM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Airas Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Primeiro scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramón Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Primeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Çağdaş Yuvakuran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramón Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Ramón Abreu came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauro Primeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 68th minute. Ramón Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Erland in the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Poli Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Sascha Kulovitz. Bartosz Erland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Abreu having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Sports Club de DERSİM's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Primeiro came free, but Ramón Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Poli Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Primeiro. In the 88th minute Mauro Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muharrem Duman kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Poli Timisoara's Horst-Peter Unterberger couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sports Club de DERSİM.
