After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Andreas Blum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoh FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Blum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Stuber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Kunz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaus Pahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th match minute, Hoh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sascha Kalish to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Timo Kaltenbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Kunz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hoh FC's goalkeeper Simon Kunz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Hoh FC defense, Timo Kaltenbach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Kunz. The Hoh FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Kunz should have stopped the shot. Patrick Ovekamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timo Kaltenbach might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simon Kunz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timo Kaltenbach ran back to his position shaking his head. Hoh FC's Simon Kunz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaus Pahl in the 27th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Timo Kaltenbach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Kunz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 40th match minute, Hoh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Kraus to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hoh FC's Leon Heintges got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Simon Kunz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Kaltenbach in the 46th minute of play. After 48 minutes, Rüdiger Sass mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hoh FC and the Daxenbach FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Ovekamp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daxenbach FSV's Timo Kaltenbach suffered a concussion in the 53rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 53 minutes, Matthias Fabry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hoh FC and the Daxenbach FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Daxenbach FSV getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eric Rüschenbaum hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Hoh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Kraus to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Daxenbach FSV booed when Hoh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Mörz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Eric Rüschenbaum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simon Kunz. That made the score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. Eric Rüschenbaum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eric Rüschenbaum's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Simon Kunz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Daxenbach FSV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
