In the 5th minute, Nichifor Borăscu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rouven Nussli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niko Gräber in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to StopBuyingToken getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Stefan Payer hit a great ball. Percival Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Juan Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of International Thunders booed when StopBuyingToken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Fielmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nichifor Borăscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Alvarenga having to interfere. In the 16th minute of the match International Thunders got a corner. StopBuyingToken's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlo Gerick ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Gernot Kellner fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored International Thunders's protests and gave Gernot Kellner a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Gernot Kellner. The crowd rose to their feet as International Thunders's Tibor Bäuschlein slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juan Alvarenga. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. International Thunders's Rouven Nussli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niko Gräber in the 23rd minute of play. When StopBuyingToken's Steffen Mandl in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye International Thunders's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th minute International Thunders were awarded a corner. Carlo Gerick went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 30th match minute, StopBuyingToken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph-Felix Räder to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Steffen Mandl made a precise shot to the right of Rouven Nussli. International Thunders's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 35th match minute, StopBuyingToken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominic Reichel to maneuver through the defense. Percival Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Alvarenga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. International Thunders's Rouven Nussli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niko Gräber in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steffen Mandl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Borăscu in the 51st minute of play forced StopBuyingToken's goalkeeper Juan Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by StopBuyingToken's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlo Gerick was slow to take the kick. During this time International Thunders's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Carlo Gerick almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but StopBuyingToken's Juan Alvarenga did a great save. Rouven Nussli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niko Gräber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in StopBuyingToken's zone, Nichifor Borăscu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Alvarenga came out of the goal and Nichifor Borăscu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loukianos Staikos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Domingues came free, but Rouven Nussli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 81 minutes on the clock, Raimundas Baleika commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for International Thunders! Dario Fankhauser took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rouven Nussli. Rouven Nussli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Domingues in the 86th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Rouven Nussli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the International Thunders defense, Juarês Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rouven Nussli. The International Thunders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rouven Nussli should have stopped the shot. Juan Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukianos Staikos in the 94th minute of play. After 97 played minutes Juarês Domingues rounded International Thunders's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched StopBuyingToken eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
