Portëz SK's Platin Kasëmllari got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kelmend Nano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Admir Gazi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kelmend Nano struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Admir Gazi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prishtina F.C. Kelmend Nano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Portëz SK's Admir Gazi got control of the ball when Andi Topulli tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Prishtina F.C's Izet Tepelena in 15 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Admir Gazi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Admir Gazi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Izet Tepelena, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Pedro Luís Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Lira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Portëz SK's Admir Gazi. Admir Gazi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andi Topulli struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Imer Vato kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Admir Gazi. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Prishtina F.C's Pedro Luís Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Admir Gazi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Izet Tepelena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Admir Gazi having to interfere. Mehmet Sadiku's late challenge caught a Prishtina F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Sadiku helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Portëz SK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Sadiku. If Andi Topulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Izet Tepelena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Admir Gazi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izet Tepelena in the 53rd minute of the match. Kelmend Nano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Admir Gazi having to make a save. In the 55th minute, Izet Tepelena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Admir Gazi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Rustem Hima came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Prishtina F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rustem Hima couldn't finish the play. Kelmend Nano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute.
