Fuat Nasti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iljaz Shyta. Iloiada's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iloiada's Gjovalin Tepelena got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gjovalin Tepelena in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermal Spaho saved Margegaj from getting behind. When Gjovalin Tepelena fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iloiada's protests and gave Gjovalin Tepelena a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Iloiada's Iljaz Shyta got control of the ball when Shkumbin Pema tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Besim Galica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermal Spaho came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Iloiada's Gjovalin Tepelena. But to his dismay, Gjovalin Tepelena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 36 minutes, Gjovalin Tepelena made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Margegaj's Ermal Spaho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Shkumbin Pema recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iloiada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Visar Miho scored to the left of an out of position Iljaz Shyta, making the score, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miri Çeka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iljaz Shyta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shkumbin Pema in the 52nd minute of play. Hasan Gozhdari was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iloiada! Iljaz Shyta had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Rakip Gjika's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Iloiada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rakip Gjika was slow to take the kick. During this time Margegaj's players had a chance to rest. In the 58th match minute, Margegaj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ajdin Tedori to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Osmen Spirollari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermal Spaho. Margegaj's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osmen Spirollari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Iljaz Shyta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miri Çeka, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Bilal Jusufi charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bilal Jusufi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Margegaj booed when Iloiada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilal Jusufi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, Margegaj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rakip Gjika to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Margegaj's goal looked a bit too open when Gjovalin Tepelena came free, but Ermal Spaho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Gjovalin Tepelena put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ermal Spaho. Iloiada's Gjovalin Tepelena got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Margegaj's Ermal Spaho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Margegaj from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Iloiada could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Margegaj throughout the match.
