After some careless play in the Mitrovica defense, Eqerem Aliçkolli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rional Baba. The Mitrovica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rional Baba should have stopped the shot. Sali Bushi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Modesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eqerem Aliçkolli got free with Rional Baba in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xavier Modesto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sali Bushi having to make a save. After 33 minutes of play, Mitrovica's Aquilino Aznaro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
