The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Hoçisht got a freekick which was hit by Elmaz Bregu. If Valmir Kotorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hoçisht's Arenc Boja got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute Arenc Boja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guximtar Zendeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guximtar Zendeli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valmir Kotorri in the 15th minute. Kledi Janko kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Hoçisht's goal looked a bit too open when Nexhat Babamusta came free, but Fisnik Sadikaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Hoçisht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmaz Bregu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valon Pema in the 25th minute of play forced Hoçisht's goalkeeper Fisnik Sadikaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Valon Pema ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fisnik Sadikaj was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 31st minute Valon Pema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fisnik Sadikaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nexhat Babamusta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fisnik Sadikaj having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nexhat Babamusta in the 36th minute of play forced Hoçisht's goalkeeper Fisnik Sadikaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Nexhat Babamusta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Partizani's supporters rose to their feet, but Nexhat Babamusta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fisnik Sadikaj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valon Pema recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Partizani getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Herald Haklaj hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Arenc Boja made the kick off in the second half. Nafiz Galo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Partizani's Herald Haklaj suffered a concussion after 53 minutes and had to leave the field. When Sokrat Berberi fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoçisht's protests and gave Sokrat Berberi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hoçisht getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sokrat Berberi hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the game, Partizani's Valon Pema nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fisnik Sadikaj made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Valon Pema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valmir Kotorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guximtar Zendeli having to interfere. Partizani's Guximtar Zendeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valmir Kotorri in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hoçisht's zone, Nafiz Galo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fisnik Sadikaj came out of the goal and Nafiz Galo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valon Pema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valon Pema who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Fisnik Sadikaj when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Valon Pema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Partizani getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nafiz Galo hit a great ball.
