In the 9th minute Luisi Haxhiaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rrushan Simoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rukaj's Mitat Qosja got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Saranda SK's goal looked a bit too open when Luisi Haxhiaj came free, but Rrushan Simoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skerdilaid Neziri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Llazi Xhemollari. Rukaj's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Geni Qatipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Llazi Xhemollari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rukaj's Llazi Xhemollari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Rukaj from getting a goal against them. Rrushan Simoni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisi Haxhiaj went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Geni Qatipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llazi Xhemollari having to interfere. Llazi Xhemollari came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Saranda SK's Ardi Ilo. But to his dismay, Ardi Ilo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Llazi Xhemollari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geni Qatipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Saranda SK's Llazi Xhemollari threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Geni Qatipi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisi Haxhiaj to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Mitat Qosja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rukaj's Luisi Haxhiaj managed to work through Saranda SK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Luisi Haxhiaj dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 60th minute, Luisi Haxhiaj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mitat Qosja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rrushan Simoni having to interfere. Ardi Ilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Llazi Xhemollari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Saranda SK booed when Rukaj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kledi Dardanet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ardi Ilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llazi Xhemollari having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Rukaj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Limoz Vrapi to maneuver through the defense. Luisi Haxhiaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Geni Qatipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ardi Ilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-1 became the score in the 93rd minute when Geni Qatipi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Saranda SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
