Fabricio Gergori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavli Sadikaj having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fushë-Kuqe's Arsen Kula got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Arsen Kula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Fabricio Gergori left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Edvin Shoshi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maciej Wielgopolski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavli Sadikaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Wielgopolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Wielgopolski in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavli Sadikaj saved Fushë-Kuqe from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maciej Wielgopolski was the one to do the kick off. Maciej Wielgopolski struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Pavli Sadikaj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Team. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Wielgopolski in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavli Sadikaj saved Fushë-Kuqe from getting behind. After having played for 56 minutes, Arttu Olkkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arttu Olkkonen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabricio Gergori received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pavli Sadikaj came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabricio Gergori slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 58th minute. In the 65th minute, Vibar Kotorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Shoshi in the 69th minute of play forced Golden Team's goalkeeper Rinus Kauffeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vibar Kotorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rinus Kauffeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Oparaku, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Shoshi in the 88th minute of play forced Golden Team's goalkeeper Rinus Kauffeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsen Kula kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Vibar Kotorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rinus Kauffeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Shoshi in the 95th minute of play. Chants of Golden Team echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Fushë-Kuqe had held the ball for most of the match.
